Our retail client is seeking a dynamic and creative Producer with a strong focus on TikTok to join their team. This individual will collaborate closely with a content creator/video editor to produce engaging product-selling videos for various social media platforms, particularly TikTok. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative team, with a focus on creating compelling content that resonates with target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and execute social media strategies, planning monthly and quarterly content to ensure a consistent online presence.
  • Coordinate and plan logistics for shooting sessions, including scheduling, location scouting, and transportation arrangements.
  • Conduct research to identify emerging trends, recommend new content ideas, and propose innovative solutions to enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the content creator/video editor from ideation to execution, ensuring that creative concepts are effectively brought to life.
  • Manage multiple priorities and assignments, demonstrating the ability to work under tight deadlines and in fast-paced environments.
  • Capture real-time and trending moments, editing quickly and efficiently to deliver high-quality content on time and with accuracy.
  • Problem-solve and recommend production/design-appropriate solutions as needed to overcome challenges.
  • Utilize various storytelling techniques through both photo and video formats to convey brand messaging effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in social media, with a particular focus on TikTok, demonstrated through previous work experience or portfolio.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in capturing and editing videos using both mobile devices and professional equipment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Flexibility to travel to retail stores within the GTA as needed for shooting and editing sessions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated on industry trends and innovations.

Other Requirements

  • Access to vehicle with valid driver’s license. Potentially working at different locations when needing to capture photo and video.
  • Comfortable and able to lift around 50 lbs of product/equipment

Location: Downtown, GTA (Greater Toronto Area), with travel to retail stores as required

Duration: 3-month assignment with potential for extension

Hours: 30-40 hours per week, Mondays and Tuesdays in-office, remainder local traveling to retail stores
