Associate Creative Director – Print/Packaging

Overview:  Our client, one of the most innovative and fast-growing consumer product companies in the world seeking, is seeking a talented and experienced Associate Creative Director specializing in Print and Packaging to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a mature and creative problem solver with a strong managerial background and international experience packaging experience in CPG. As a key member of our creative team, you will collaborate closely with clients, designers, and project managers to develop compelling visual concepts and bring them to life through print and packaging materials.  This full time, hybrid remote role overseas print,production, packaging, and photo and video art direction as well as managing the in-house design team in the US, Hong Kong, and China



  1. Creative Leadership:In collaboration with the CBO/Creative Director, you will help lead the US, Hong Kong and China graphic design and production design teams in alignment with marketing, product development, digital strategies and business objectives

  2. Concept Development: Concept, design, and produce engaging strategic content and creative assets across a range of brand projects and touchpoints, including packaging, multi-language instruction manuals, marketing and promotional, email, print, branding and logo designs, media and PR programs, and whatever comes next.

  3. Design Execution: In collaboration with the CBO/Creative Director, provide the vision for photography and direct all photography efforts for use in packaging, social media, and Ecommerce.Ensure a high level of excellence in concept,design,photo, and video art direction. Ensure that brand and visual identity is consistently applied to all collateral and marketing material across the comoany. Drive creative consistency into global markets in packaging and digital platforms

  4. Team Collaboration: Communicate and interact well with team members and supervisors across multiple departments.  Work closely and build relationships with Brand Marketing, Global Marketing, Product Development, Ecommerce, and Social Media teams to drive the creative strategy across the Company

  5. Quality Assurance: Direct team’s acttivites involving development and qualification of commercial package designs including artwork for regulatory submissions such as FDA labeling

  6. Trend Research: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in print and packaging design, and integrate them into our creative processes.

  7. Budget Management: Manage project budgets effectively, optimizing resources and minimizing costs while delivering exceptional creative solutions.

  8. Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, helping them develop their skills and grow as creative professionals.


  1. 10+ years of experience CPG experiene with an emphasis in packaging,print, and photo/video art direction. Must have in-house CPG experience
  2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a managerial role over seeing design teams as well as experience working with international vendors
  3. FDA regulatory packaging experience 
  4. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
  5. A strong portfolio that demonstrates ability to come up with modern, original ideas and innovative approaches across channels, along with the visuals skills and attention detail to execute superbly in a variety of mediums.
  6. Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, including photoshop,illustrator, InDesign,After Effects
  7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  8. Knowledge of print production processes and techniques.
  9. Experience working with clients in various industries is a plus.
  10. A positive attitude and a collaborative mindset.
