UX Engineer

Overview

As a UX Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and refining our clients design systems, ensuring they are both robust and user-centric. Your dual expertise in user experience design and front-end development will enable you to bridge the gap between conceptual design and technical implementation, enhancing the interface designs that drive user satisfaction and engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with both UX designers and developers to craft and refine tools and design systems that enhance the efficiency and coherence of design implementation.
• Develop and scale our existing design systems to adapt to changing needs, focusing on usability, accessibility, and modularity.
• Implement and iterate on user interface designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring that all features are responsive and optimized across devices.
• Participate in the design and development of digital products from concept to completion, employing UX principles and coding skills to ensure top-notch quality and functionality.
• Serve as a technical liaison among the development, design, and product management teams, facilitating effective communication and collaborative problem-solving.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and inform design decisions, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of user experience.
• Mentor team members in both design and development domains, promoting continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
• Share knowledge and insights on design and development trends through internal presentations, workshops, and other knowledge-sharing platforms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field, supplemented by significant practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in UX design and front-end development, with a proven track record of successful interface design and system implementation.
• Deep proficiency in front-end technologies including CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, with experience in responsive and adaptive design.
• Strong skills in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-disciplinary team, within an agile development environment.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex design concepts and strategies across different audiences.
• Experience in mobile and web development platforms, with a keen understanding of the nuances involved in designing for various devices.
