This is an onsite position in Redmond, WA that will start as a 7 month engagement that could extend up to 18 months.

The Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer role requires the ability to move fast, own projects end-to-end, and deliver production-ready features with minimal oversight. Work spans a modern stack—Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, and MySQL—to ship features that make a real difference.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Ruby on Rails.
- Develop and enhance front-end features using React and TypeScript.
- Write efficient, maintainable SQL for MySQL databases.
- Take ownership of projects from concept to production.
- Debug, optimize, and ship code quickly with attention to quality.
- Collaborate directly with product and design teams to define technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality through thoughtful reviews and testing.
What You’ll Bring
- 9+ years of professional experience in web development.
- 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, React, and TypeScript
- 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of MySQL schema design and performance tuning.
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver results quickly in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
