We are seeking a highly skilled Data/Visualization Engineer to join our client’s Global retail team for a 7-month hybrid role in Beaverton, OR. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between raw data and actionable business intelligence. You will leverage your expertise to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and visualization solutions that empower stakeholders to understand complex financial and operational landscapes. Your work will directly contribute to key initiatives, influencing leadership decisions and fostering a culture of data literacy. This position offers a unique chance to collaborate with a diverse group of principal engineers, domain partners, and finance experts, driving innovation and shaping how data is perceived and utilized within the organization.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated data and visualization solutions.
* Navigate and integrate data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
* Trace data code to identify the source of truth, guaranteeing data integrity and consistency.
* Collaborate with principal engineers, domain partners, and finance experts to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
* Document processes thoroughly and effectively teach others, fostering knowledge sharing within the team.
* Contribute to a collaborative and dynamic team environment, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently on critical projects.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience in data and visualization engineering.
* Proven ability to trace back data code to identify the source of truth.
* Strong experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
* Proficiency in writing and understanding code, particularly Python.
* Extensive experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
* Demonstrated expertise in Power BI for creating compelling data visualizations and dashboards.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
* Excellent documentation skills and the ability to effectively teach technical concepts to others.
* Knowledge of financial concepts and data is a nice-to-have.
* Prior experience with automation projects is a nice-to-have.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $59 to $66/HR. Compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
