What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Creative Vision: Drive the creative vision and visual expression for all campaigns, ensuring alignment with the brand’s core identity and delivering innovative concepts across diverse audiences, with a strong emphasis on developing digital strategy.
  • Execute Breakthrough Digital Creative: Conceptualize and execute modern, disruptive digital creative featuring dynamic storytelling, specifically focusing on the e-commerce ecosystem and mobile platforms.
  • Manage End-to-End Production: Oversee the production of high-quality assets for print, digital, and packaging, ensuring seamless execution from concept to delivery across various formats and platforms.
  • Direct Visuals: Art direct and manage photoshoots and video shoots, overseeing post-production to craft compelling visual narratives that elevate the brand’s identity.
  • Ensure Consistency: Maintain visual and conceptual consistency across multi-channel brand strategies and initiatives, applying them to all interactive platforms and brand touchpoints.
  • Collaborate and Partner: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, business development, e-commerce, social, and creative teams, as well as external vendors and global partners.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the industry, integrating new ideas into the global digital strategy.
  • Inspire and Manage Talent: Inspire and manage creative talent, including in-house designers and external agencies, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Manage Projects: Assist in managing creative budgets, timelines, and workflows to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience (7+ years) in art direction and campaign design, with expertise in print, digital, and packaging production. Experience in both agency and in-house environments is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or visual communications.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional typography, print design, and production design, with a focus on retail-focused design thinking.
  • Core Skills: Strong conceptual abilities and exceptional art direction skills, coupled with a solid knowledge of the digital landscape.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color, and page layout, with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate concepts effectively through sketches, diagrams, wireframes, visual comps, and interactive prototypes.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in managing photoshoots, creative budgets, and timelines.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of consumer behavior in the beauty industry, online functionality, digital marketing, and emerging technology trends.
  • Work Style: Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • UI and UX design experience.
  • Experience with people management and mentoring a team of designers.
