Become an integral part of a leading financial services firm, driving the establishment of a new Global Capability Center (GCC) in India. As a Senior Vendor Sourcing Manager, you will be at the forefront of this exciting initiative, leading the charge in sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with key vendors.
As a Senior Vendor Sourcing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company’s global operations. You will lead Request for Proposals (RFPs) for essential products and services needed to establish the GCC, focusing primarily on Human Resources functions such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Employee Benefits, and HR systems and technology. Your expertise will also be called upon to support other critical areas, including Finance, Corporate Real Estate, and Technology Services. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence key decisions, and leave a lasting impact on the company’s global footprint.
Responsibilities:
- Lead RFP processes for a wide range of products and services, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic objectives.
- Spearhead contract negotiations with selected vendors, collaborating with Risk Review Teams and Legal to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners across the firm, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic sourcing expert.
- Manage all aspects of the strategic sourcing lifecycle, from initial vendor identification to contract execution and ongoing vendor management.
- Oversee the drafting, editing, and negotiation of various legal documents, including product and service agreements and NDAs.
- Act as a liaison between legal counsel and business partners, effectively communicating complex legal and technical issues to facilitate informed decision-making.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in category management and strategic sourcing, with a focus on Human Resources spend categories, including RPO and Employee Benefits.
- Proven track record of successfully leading RFP processes and negotiating complex contracts.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to vendor management and contracting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications, Outlook, and Ariba.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience supporting sourcing and contracting in India.
- Involvement in setting up a Global Capability Center (GCC) or Global In-house Center (GIC).
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft and/or Tableau.
- Experience with Finance (accounting and tax services, Finance systems and technology), Corporate Real Estate and/or Technology Services.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $70 to $79 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
