Job Description: Senior Art Director
We are looking for a strong, independent and collaborative Senior Art Director who will be
responsible for developing concepts & visual assets. We are looking for someone with
innovative artistic design skills and outstanding visual understanding.
What you need to succeed:
• 7-10 years of work experience in this field with 3+ years working as an Art Director at an
ad agency or design group
• The ability to create high quality artistic, engaging assets with an eye for detail and a
clean, sophisticated aesthetic
• A keen understanding/awareness of brand appropriate aesthetic, culture and audience when creating assets
• Ability to evaluate, develop and contribute to the overall design strategy and execution of all creative
• Collaboration with team in brainstorm sessions and help push creative concepts that resonate with client audience
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced schedule
• Exceptional attention to detail and process; Excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills
• Solid concepting and design abilities that support client direction
• Confident, articulate presentation skills to effectively deliver creative
• Can understand and appropriately translate client brand guidelines
• Demonstrate critical thinking to your ideation, concepts and design
• Willingly answer questions within the team and offer help
• Receive, weigh, and integrate diverse feedback from a multi-disciplinary group
Experience
• Ability to collaborate & leverage the knowledge of others—Work well as part of the team and beyond.
• Must have a strong artistic background in concept development and execution
• Portfolio that reflects strong artistic design concepts, exceptional design sensibility and
attention to detail with a sophisticated, clean aesthetic
• Bachelor’s degree in Art and Design or equivalent
The target hiring compensation range for this role is _135,000_ to __145,000_. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
