This exciting opportunity will allow you to design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and services within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be instrumental in building scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures, leveraging your expertise in Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, and other key GCP services. You’ll collaborate with architects and fellow engineers, driving innovation and ensuring seamless integration with various APIs and AI-related services. Your work will directly impact the firm’s ability to deliver cutting-edge financial solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and services using GCP services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, VPC, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL).
• Collaborate with architects and team members to build scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures.
• Utilize Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration for GCP environments.
• Spearhead the deployment process in GCP, managing IAM roles and ensuring appropriate access control.
• Contribute to conversational AI platform development leveraging Google Cloud services, ensuring seamless integration with Cloud and On-Premise APIs, and other AI-related services.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven, conversational applications. Actively participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and code reviews.
• Ensure high availability, optimal performance, and scalability of the cloud infrastructure. Resolve issues related to the GCP stack and deploy improvements.

Must-Haves:

• B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Java and web service development
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Expertise in services like Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, VPC, gRPC, Pub/Sub, PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL), and BigQuery
• Strong understanding of Terraform for infrastructure automation and GCP IAM for access control
• Solid grasp of cloud-native architectures, including microservices and containerization
• Experience deploying and managing applications in CloudRun
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, data analysis, and integration with databases like PostgreSQL

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.83 to $50.93 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
