Please note this is a hybrid role in Cupertino, CA. You must be able to work 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday and Friday).

As a Quality Assurance/User Acceptance Testing specialist, you will be a vital part of the UAT team, independently driving testing and validation efforts for mobile systems. You’ll design and execute test strategies, develop comprehensive test plans and cases, and craft scripts to ensure flawless functionality across a range of mobile applications. This role offers the exciting opportunity to work on on-device experiences, shaping how users interact with innovative technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts to maximize test coverage across existing features and new developments.
  • Conduct thorough testing of on-device user experiences across various mobile applications.
  • Develop automated tests for iOS platforms using Python.
  • Manage multiple initiatives and prioritize feature and campaign testing, ensuring timely documentation and delivery of end-to-end testing.
  • Provide detailed documentation including testing scope overviews, test plans, results, and associated tickets for resolution/prioritization.
  • Deliver timely communication on status and progress, including test status reports, metrics, progress reports, coverage reports, defect reports, and other relevant documentation.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or User Acceptance Testing, with 5+ years specifically in test automation for end-to-end systems.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end testing across multiple applications, demonstrating comprehensive coverage for system validation.
  • Experience validating native mobile applications or on-device messaging for large-scale marketing initiatives.
  • Expertise in Python, with a focus on writing test automation scripts.
  • Expertise in iOS automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium and Appium.
  • Experience designing and creating test automation frameworks and tools, specifically for end-to-end and on-device mobile testing.
  • Experience with testing activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception to delivery.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with tools like Charles, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Experience automating data analytics and reporting across multiple systems.
  • Understanding of software build tools and CI/CD integrations.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple engineering and product teams to expedite issue prioritization and resolution.
  • Experience creating written test reports showcasing test progress, status, test plan completion, identified defects, and associated risks.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $70.20 to $78 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
