Our top financial client is looking for a superstar Senior Marketing Brand Manager to join it’s team in San Antonio on a hybrid basis!
Our client is a leading provider of insurance, banking, and investment and retirement solutions to more than 13 million members of the U.S. military, veterans who have honorably served and their families.
In this high profile role, the Senior Brand Manager will assist in building the brand and raise brand awareness through innovative, multichannel and cross functional marketing campaigns. Will interface with many partners including project managers, media partners, creative teams, in-house agency and external agencies, sponsorship teammates (ent/sports), compliance, legal, etc. Reviews market research and competitive intelligence projects and results to identify and articulate customer, competitor and industry trends which impact possible new branding opportunities and directions. Compile, analyze and interpret data for in-market campaigns to make strategic and tactical recommendations or in the moment adjustments to help deliver against brand business/marketing objectives.
What You’ll Do:
• Contributes to the development and delivery of go-to-market plans. Will handle up to 20 campaigns at one time.
• Facilitates the integration of cross-functional collaboration and innovations by supplying knowledge between Business Partners and Marketing.
• Provides status updates on applicable marketing, sales and service activities to key team members and business partners.
• Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs.
• Manages assigned Marketing budget/s.
• Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities that help support development of marketing strategies.
• Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Minimum Experience:
• 4 or more years of progressive related experience required.
• Subject-matter-expert understanding of the marketing function/discipline and demonstrated application of knowledge, skills and abilities.
Preferred Experience:
• Ability to develop and execute integrated go-to-market plans that drive brand awareness, engagement, and business results
• Experience with big brands that are not about pushing products but are aimed at member care (if you have a sales background it might not be a good fit).
• Exceptional organizational and budget management skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and measure campaign effectiveness.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Military background/Veteran (self or family) is a plus.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $55 to $65 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
