Embark on an impactful journey as a Compliance Auditor where you’ll be immersed in a critical role within the organization. You will be instrumental in ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices. Your insights and recommendations will directly influence the effectiveness of risk management and control systems.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute audit programs and testing procedures to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, reliability of information, and compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Document testing results and audit conclusions based on a thorough understanding of processes, risks, and controls.
Identify and assess risks and their potential impact on the business.
Collaborate with senior auditors and managers to develop process and control improvement recommendations.
Proactively identify and address potential audit obstacles, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and business partners.
Develop corrective action plans, track their implementation, and maintain documentation to support closure.
Communicate audit findings effectively to management and clients, both verbally and in writing.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
2+ years of experience as an auditor in compliance or finance.
Excellent technical proficiency in auditing and data analysis.
Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or other data analytics tools (e.g., ACL).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
CPA, CISA, or CIA certification.
Healthcare industry experience.
Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $68,000 – $100,000. Compensation is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
Hybrid Role: Denver, CO or Federal Way, WA
