This team focuses on ensuring accessibility across the company, including products, campus, websites, and tools.
The team coordinates various internal and external events, working closely with PR, comms, and marketing teams to align social media, event calendars, and communication strategies.
The role involves managing engagement requests, coordinating events, drafting communications, and ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders. The candidate will support the Chief Accessibility Officer and the Chief of Staff.
The role is unique as it combines program management with creative writing. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-visibility projects, including keynotes and major events, and contribute to accessibility initiatives.
Role Overview:
As the Engagement and Program Manager, you will lead the intake and preparation for Accessibility external and internal engagements. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality content including executive blogs, presentations, and event materials. You will also manage the intake process for engagement requests, develop content strategies, and ensure the Office of the CAO is fully prepared to deliver on these engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engagement Leadership: Serve as the lead for select events and engagements, ensuring accessibility and readiness. Collaborate with the team to prepare the CAO for all upcoming engagements.
• Executive Communications: Write and edit blogs, talking points, and other executive communications that reflect Accessibility vision and mission
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate recurring syncs with key PR and Comms stakeholders to maintain alignment and foster collaboration.
• Calendar Management: Own and maintain a dynamic calendar of events and key dates, aligning them with organizational goals and accessibility milestones.
• Content Planning: Curate and prioritize a pipeline of accessibility stories and launch moments, integrating them into broader communications in partnership with PR and Comms teams.
Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 2 to 4 years of experience.
• Degrees or Certifications Required: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Disqualifiers: Lack of creative writing skills and project management experience.
• Best vs. Average: Best candidates will have experience with accessibility, prior tech industry work, and a strong portfolio of impactful writing.
• Performance Indicators: Success will be measured by the candidate’s ability to quickly integrate, meet stakeholders, and deliver on key projects and events.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, program management, or related fields.
