As a Manpower Scheduler, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving the efficiency of the workforce. You will be responsible for creating and publishing daily manpower schedules, managing overtime, and participating in staffing reviews. Your analytical skills will be essential in maintaining key performance indicators and ensuring adherence to company policies. You will also play a key role in talent development, coordinating training programs and contributing to new hire orientation. This position offers a dynamic blend of analytical and interpersonal skills, allowing you to contribute to both the operational efficiency and the growth of the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and publish daily manpower schedules to optimize workforce allocation.
  • Manage overtime postings and awards according to company policy.
  • Participate in weekly staffing operations reviews and track key staffing metrics.
  • Maintain the production competency matrix and assist in training initiatives.
  • Support HR and business unit leaders in recruitment efforts for open positions (full-time, part-time, and seasonal).
  • Oversee the factory-wide vacation selection process and manage related records.
  • Audit timekeeping system data to ensure compliance with attendance policies.
  • Coordinate various training programs.
  • Actively participate in and eventually manage new hire orientation.
  • Manage external career fairs and hiring events.
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews, coordinating interviews for various roles.
  • Develop and update hourly interview guides.
  • Prepare new hire packets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in scheduling and staffing coordination.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in timekeeping systems and related software.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $22.50 to $25.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
