Ready to make a real impact on the automotive industry? As a data analyst with a leading automotive manufacturer, through Aquent, you’ll play a crucial role in optimizing warranty claim processes. You will be diving deep into data, uncovering hidden patterns, and developing the logic that drives cost recovery efforts. In this role, you will transform detailed analyses of warranty claims into actionable mapping criteria, enabling the efficient processing of large volumes of similar claims. You’ll be a key player in streamlining operations, improving accuracy, and maximizing cost recovery.
What You’ll Do:

  • Develop scalable mapping criteria based on insights from resolved warranty claims.
  • Analyze extensive datasets to identify unmapped claims with similar characteristics.
  • Implement business rules to enhance and attribute unmapped claims.
  • Partner with recovery teams to validate logic and document mapping assumptions.
  • Monitor and track the financial impact of mapped claims on cost recovery.

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, warranty operations, or cost recovery.
  • Strong pattern recognition skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with automotive warranty processes and supplier attribution.
  • Strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and a problem-solving mindset.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $28-30 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
