About the Role:
As a Business Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping and improving sustainability reporting processes. You’ll collaborate with diverse stakeholders, develop standard operating procedures, and prepare reports for both regulators and customers. Your work will directly contribute to the company’s ESG goals and influence its sustainability narrative.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and align on reporting processes.
- Develop and improve processes for internal and partner teams related to ESG reporting.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sustainability reporting.
- Prepare reports for regulatory bodies and customers on environmental and social performance.
- Conduct analysis and reporting using Data visualization software.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives related to sustainability.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in Sustainability/ESG reporting.
- Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with experience liaising with subject matter experts and senior leadership within large, complex organizations.
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
- Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with Energy Efficiency Directive, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, and Carbon/Climate Risk Reporting.
- Familiarity with working in large, matrixed organizations.
- Project management skills.
- Interest in AI and its applications in sustainability.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58 to $65 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
