We are seeking a thoughtful, experienced Senior UX Designer to help shape the future of advertiser support experiences. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design of innovative self-service tools that help brands, businesses, and agencies successfully onboard and grow their presence through personalized support, delivered when, how, and where they need it. You’ll work across disciplines, partnering closely with product managers and engineers throughout all stages of the product development lifecycle. This role also involves spearheading user research projects, from concept development to conducting user interviews and delivering synthesized findings with key learnings.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

This role involves a significant focus on independent work within established design systems. You will:

  • Lead the vision for AI applications within customer and associate-facing support tools.
  • Spend time building out “help workflows” and learning experiments with AI, with a focus on creating “AI-first” content consumption workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and create novel designs for content delivery where current approaches are not established.
  • Operate as a solo practitioner within the Storm Design System, primarily utilizing Figma.
  • Drive learnings that contribute to a three-year plan focused on leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and Artificial Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to help define business and feature requirements, leveraging empirical online data, usability findings, market research, and proven User-Centered Design (UCD) principles.
  • Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively conducting usability testing and interpreting analytics data.
  • Present design work to the user experience and product teams for review and feedback.
  • Provide leadership in ecommerce trends, web application design, and user interface innovations.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of user experience design experience, with recent utilization of AI.
  • 8+ years of experience building “help workflows,” conducting learning experiments with AI, and developing “AI-first” content consumption workflows.
  • Experience with customer and associate-facing applications, including assisting in leading the vision for AI applications.
  • User research experience (conducting customer interviews and usability research).
  • Proficiency in Figma and working with design libraries.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
  • A strong online portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
  • Self-starter who is customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player.
  • Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is highly desired.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $72.00 to $80.01 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
