As a Design Producer, you will be instrumental in guiding the design process from concept to launch. You’ll collaborate closely with design teams and cross-functional partners, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of high-quality web experiences. Your leadership will be essential in defining project requirements, facilitating design reviews, and championing user-centered design principles.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage cross-functional relationships, acting as the primary advocate for the design team.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, setting milestones, tracking progress, and proactively addressing potential roadblocks.
- Lead engaging design brainstorms and workshops, fostering creativity and innovation.
- Facilitate productive design reviews, capturing key decisions, action items, and open issues.
- Monitor and report on project health, providing regular updates on status, risks, and projected outcomes.
- Collaborate with Design Managers on resource allocation and prioritization, ensuring optimal utilization of team capabilities.
- Oversee the timely and efficient handoff of design specifications to engineering teams.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to maintain design integrity throughout the implementation process.
- Continuously refine processes and communication strategies to enhance efficiency and collaboration in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Must-Haves:
- 7+ years of experience as a producer/project manager in software design, with digital or creative agency experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and software development lifecycles.
- Familiarity with best practices for desktop, mobile, and native app design.
- Proven ability to integrate design, business, marketing, engineering, and stakeholder perspectives to define project requirements and achieve design goals.
- Ability to navigate complex projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt to evolving requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $83.95 to $93.28 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
