Environmental Designer

Overview

We are looking for an Environmental Designer for our global sports and fitness brand. You will craft immersive retail environments that connect athletes to the future of sport and commerce. Your expertise in environmental design will be instrumental in developing impactful and scalable design solutions for a diverse range of retail settings.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will:

• Create, refine, and evolve environmental design components for a global portfolio of retail stores.
• Develop and manage all architectural and 3D environmental elements, balancing consumer needs with brand and business requirements.
• Communicate and present design concepts to leadership and cross-functional partners, using 3D models, 2D drawings, and presentations.
• Evolve retail concepts and stores, supporting enhanced product presentation and service engagement, aligning with brand experience creative direction.
• Elevate and strengthen premium storytelling across retail consumer touch points. Define, pilot, perfect and scale design solutions.
• Collaborate with internal and external design teams to ensure feasibility and meet functional needs.
• Drive education and inspiration, sharing knowledge of current and future trends influencing consumer experiences and technology.
• Foster innovative thinking, collaboration, and teamwork.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Environmental Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive design experience in architectural, experiential, or brand design.
• Comprehensive knowledge of design processes and advanced knowledge of computer systems.
• Proven ability to lead a design team, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
• Expertise in design skills, including concepting, drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, texture, and spatial design.
• Expert oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated expertise using computer design applications including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, V-Ray, Figma, Keynote, and Adobe Creative Suite.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $51.00 to $56.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
