Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a Sr. UX/Product Designer with an emphais in Data Visualization!
This position is 100% remote and candidates must currently live in the United States.
In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment. C2C is not permitted for this position.
- Be able to showcase your data visualization experience through cases studies and/or portfolio. Samples must be narrative in nature and not just finished screens.

In this dynamic role, you will:
- Lead design work streams, tackling complex business challenges head-on and crafting innovative solutions for product stocking, pricing, and promotions.
- Champion the user, ensuring their needs are at the heart of every design decision, from initial concept to successful launch.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists, fostering a collaborative environment where diverse perspectives converge to create exceptional user experiences.
- Transform complex data and financial insights into intuitive and actionable interfaces, empowering users to make informed decisions that drive business growth.
- Execute the full design process, from journey mapping and user research to wireframing, prototyping, and creating stunning visual designs.
- Maintain design consistency and excellence, adhering to brand standards and UI guidelines while pushing the boundaries of data visualization and visual hierarchy.
- Effectively communicate your design solutions to internal teams and senior partners, showcasing the value and impact of your work.
- Contribute to a culture of design excellence, fostering best practices and driving the adoption of industry-leading tools like Figma.
- Thrive in a high-visibility environment, navigating stakeholder involvement and ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization.
- Strike a balance between traditional UX principles and innovative thinking, guiding users towards new ways of working and optimizing business processes.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in UX, UI, or a blended UX/UI design role.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other industry-standard design tools.
- A proven track record of driving and delivering design projects from concept to launch.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing exceptional mobile, web, desktop, and other digital experiences.
- Strong understanding of material design and native patterns.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- A knack for aligning team members around a shared vision for the ideal digital experience, securing buy-in and commitment from stakeholders.
- Experience designing and launching successful products, demonstrating a deep understanding of the entire product development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate user needs and demonstrate how your designs address those needs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working within Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.
- Knowledge of design systems and component-based design.
- A strong grasp of UI design principles, including visual hierarchy, spacing, and typography.
- Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and a commitment to creating inclusive and accessible designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, User Experience, Graphic Design, Information Design, Product Design, Human Factors, or equivalent/relevant work experience.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $72.00 to $75.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
