About the Role:
- As a visionary Graphic Designer, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop cutting-edge design systems and style guides for a diverse range of projects. From conceptualizing event spaces and social media campaigns to designing video series branding and live event graphics, your creativity will know no bounds. You’ll oversee and approve the work of freelancers and production designers, ensuring seamless execution and brand consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of high-level, conceptual design systems and style guides for various marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals, target audiences, and creative briefs.
- Create mood boards and explore diverse creative directions to propose innovative visual solutions.
- Oversee and approve the work of freelancers and production designers, ensuring alignment with the established vision.
- Occasionally execute hands-on design tasks for smaller projects, such as social media posts.
- Maintain a strong understanding of current design trends and adapt them to specific audiences while adhering to brand guidelines.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional graphic design experience in a corporate or agency setting.
- Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, with a minimum of 8 years of experience using it as the primary design tool.
- Proven ability to create comprehensive and flexible design systems and style guides for others to execute.
- Deep knowledge of current design trends and the ability to adapt them for specific audiences while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience building design systems that flex across multiple channels (events, social, digital, print).
- Familiarity with video editing and motion tools (Premiere, After Effects).
- Experience with UI design.
- Professional photography or animation experience.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $39.76 to $44.18 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
