As a Procurement Agent, you will be a key player in the supply chain process. You’ll leverage your negotiation and analytical skills to secure the best possible deals while ensuring compliance and mitigating risks. What You’ll Do:

  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and conditions, preparing contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Integrate program, customer, product, and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation, and contract strategies.
  • Develop procurement solutions that align with customer requirements and company objectives.
  • Support senior Procurement Agents with project management activities.
  • Develop and implement supplier strategies and plans.
  • Monitor and manage supplier readiness and performance, including sub-tier suppliers.
  • Contribute to process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Participate in supplier risk assessments and performance reviews.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize project management tools to analyze and manage supplier performance.
  • Support daily procurement tasks, including contract negotiations, sourcing, pricing analysis, change orders, and stakeholder communication.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ or years of experience in negotiating and purchasing.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial analysis, activity-based costing, and supply chain methodology.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Ariba and SAP experience.
  • PMP certification.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $36.32 to $40.36 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
