You will play a pivotal role in a critical project, migrating extensive project data into a newly structured environment. As the Data Migration Specialist, you will be the driving force behind the data conversion and cleaning process. Your meticulous approach and analytical skills will ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration. You will collaborate closely with partners, understanding their data structures and formats, and seamlessly integrate the converted data into the new workspace. Your problem-solving abilities will be essential in resolving any integration challenges and ensuring a smooth transition.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the data conversion and cleaning process, converting existing data into the required format.
- Clean and preprocess data by handling errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
- Work closely with partners to understand their current data structures, formats, and content.
- Load converted data into the new workspace.
- Collaborate with administrators to resolve any integration issues.
- Provide regular progress updates, address concerns, and offer recommendations for future improvements.
- Collaborate with other implementation team members to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.
Must-Haves:
- 1-3 years of experience working within a specific project management software.
- Proven ability to process a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior analytical skills and the ability to audit, dissect, and interpret large data sets.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to solve problems independently in a highly matrixed organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working in business, creative organizations, and/or marketing.
- Proven experience with change management.
- Experience in data reconciliation and auditing.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $39.55 to $43.95 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
