CAM Engineering Technologist

Overview

In this role, you’ll be directly involved in setting up new production areas, optimizing processes, and ensuring the smooth transition of products from assembly to packaging. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be a vital part of the production team, working hands-on to assemble and test products. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This is your opportunity to make a tangible difference in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:

• Set up new production work areas, including layouts, tooling, and equipment.
• Facilitate the transition of products from production to packaging.
• Manufacture, assemble, and test mechanical components according to established procedures, engineering models, drawings, and specifications.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects focused on safety.
• Perform routine maintenance, including daily clean-up of work areas.
• Contribute to other tasks as assigned to support overall organizational success.

Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to interpret specifications, work instructions, and test procedures.
• Basic math and computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 44 lbs.
• Flexibility to work off-shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Industry certification, trade school training, or a related degree.
• Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $22.50 to $25 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
