As a Public Policy Manager focusing on Integrity Regulation Strategy and Policy, you will be a key player in navigating the evolving landscape of digital content regulation. Your expertise will inform critical decisions, influence policy development, and shape the way people connect and share information online. As a Public Policy Manager, you will:

  • Drive company alignment on global content regulation strategy and policy, working to positively influence the regulatory environment.
  • Monitor and analyze emerging regulatory issues related to digital content, keeping teams and leadership informed of key developments and trends.
  • Lead the company’s response to regulatory changes, including legislative analysis, crafting impactful messaging, and developing advocacy strategies.
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration across policy, operations, legal, and other teams to identify priorities and ensure alignment on content regulation goals.
  • Effectively communicate the company’s positions, industry best practices, and global trends related to content regulation to internal and external stakeholders.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in law, policy, human rights, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in public policy or government institutions (e.g., government agencies, regulators, legislative bodies) or related roles in think tanks, NGOs, or advocacy organizations.
  • Experience working with internet technologies, security, privacy, integrity, safety, content moderation, and the surrounding policy environments, ideally with a focus on freedom of expression.
  • Proven ability to engage with policy stakeholders and advocate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience in project or program management, including cross-functional collaboration domestically and/or internationally.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive topics and manage sensitive material and relationships responsibly.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Spanish language proficiency.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $78.15 to $86.84 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
