Aquent Talent is partnering with a leading financial services firm to find a skilled and passionate iOS & Android Mobile Developer to join their team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting cutting-edge mobile applications used by millions. As a key member of the mobile development team, you will:

• Prepare specifications, design, develop, and support mobile applications, adhering to best practices.
• Assess and optimize designs for optimal user experiences across phones and tablets.
• Create and execute unit tests for a range of mobile devices.
• Build native mobile apps, provide production support, and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare documentation for new development work while maintaining development standards.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4-6 years of Android development experience, specifically with large-scale applications
• Expert-level Kotlin proficiency
• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Knowledge of design systems
• Experience writing custom UI Views
• Experience writing and consuming libraries
• Gradle and Maven experience
• Experience with REST, JSON, XML, and integrating Android apps with server-side APIs
• Experience writing Unit Tests and Automated UI tests
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and debugging related issues
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers
• Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
• Experience building native features as a module
• Understanding of SOLID design principles
• Experience collaborating with Architects and Stakeholders
• Experience debugging memory and performance issues
• Experience working with native accessibility features
• Familiarity with Agile practices
• Hands-on experience supporting multiple Android SDK versions, screen resolutions, and device types
• Good understanding of the Android SDK and NDK

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48.60 to $54.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
