As a Motion Designer, you’ll be a vital part of a leading life sciences and diagnostics company, transforming complex scientific concepts into compelling narratives that drive engagement and understanding. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll create cutting-edge motion graphics for a diverse range of media, from digital campaigns and social content to product visualizations and broadcast pieces. Your expertise in 2D and 3D animation will bring these stories to life, pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling and leaving a lasting impression.
Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and create 2D and 3D motion graphics for various media, including video, digital campaigns, social content, and product visualizations.
  • Design and animate using industry-standard software like After Effects and a 3D platform of your choice (Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, or Houdini).
  • Model, texture, light, and render 3D scenes and elements for integration into live-action or animated projects.
  • Collaborate with creative directors, editors, and VFX artists to develop dynamic visuals aligned with brand and narrative goals.
  • Manage animation projects from storyboard to delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Stay current on design trends, animation techniques, and emerging software tools.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of professional experience in motion design and animation.
  • Expert proficiency in After Effects and at least one 3D platform (Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, or Houdini).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, composition, and timing.
  • Experience with rendering tools (Redshift, Octane, Arnold, or Eevee).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and audio syncing techniques.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with Unreal Engine, MoGraph workflows, or procedural animation.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60 to $65 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
