Make a real impact as a Training Developer with a Fortune 500 utility company! Partnering with Aquent, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of the workforce by crafting engaging and effective training programs for the Procurement organization. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your instructional design expertise to create dynamic learning experiences that empower employees to excel in their roles.
As a Training Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a variety of training programs, including eLearning modules, instructor-led sessions, and blended learning solutions. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and the learning and development team to create impactful learning experiences that drive organizational success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Transform existing training materials (PowerPoint slides, Word documents, PDFs, etc.) into interactive online courses, incorporating knowledge checks and assessments.
  • Design and develop new training modules from scratch on topics such as contract negotiations, sourcing best practices, and cost savings.
  • Manage multiple training curricula, including design, development, improvement, and maintenance.
  • Define instructional strategies and measurable learning objectives for all training deliverables.
  • Develop facilitator guides, participant materials, and collaborate with learning partners for rollout and implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal clients and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and develop targeted solutions.
  • Proactively identify and address any challenges or roadblocks to ensure successful project completion.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Seven or more years of experience in developing and delivering training programs.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in eLearning development tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, etc.).
  • Strong instructional design skills and experience developing various training formats.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with Articulate 360 Rise or Adobe Storyline.
  • Familiarity with Skillsoft or similar learning management systems.
  • Experience developing procurement-related training content.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $31.50 to $35 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
