A major entertainment company partnered with Aquent is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Writer/Producer to lead video creative for their primetime comedy, drama, and unscripted series. As a Senior Writer/Producer, you’ll be the driving force behind innovative video campaigns, collaborating with a talented team to bring your vision to life. You’ll oversee the entire creative process, from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring that every piece of content resonates with viewers across multiple platforms. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend your artistic talents with your leadership skills, mentoring a team of creatives while pushing the boundaries of entertainment marketing.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute groundbreaking creative concepts for multi-platform promotional campaigns.
- Oversee projects from start to finish, managing editorial, graphics production, finishing, and scheduling.
- Craft compelling pitch decks to present your ideas to Creative Directors, Editorial Directors, and talent.
- Collaborate with various departments, including graphics, editorial, marketing strategy, and social media, to ensure seamless execution across all platforms (on-air, off-air, radio, digital, streaming, and social).
- Utilize your proficiency in Adobe Premiere to edit video content and run editing sessions.
- Source external production resources as needed.
- Mentor and guide Writer/Producers and Associate Producers on creative projects.
Must-Haves:
- Minimum 8 years of experience writing and producing promotional content for broadcast or cable television, a movie trailer house, or an advertising agency.
- Proven experience working on 360 campaigns for scripted and unscripted programming.
- Strong working knowledge of editing systems and workflows.
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Experience supervising editing sessions and directing editors.
- Ability to effectively direct voiceover talent.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Understanding of marketing concepts and brand management.
- Knowledge of target demographics and how to engage them effectively.
- Understanding of all phases of pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to build credibility and strong working relationships within a complex organization.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $81.03 to $90.04 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
