Make a real impact on a global scale. We’re partnering with a leading tech innovator to find a skilled Security and Compliance Engineer to join their team. As a Security and Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting in-depth security and risk assessments for cloud-based services.
- Documenting and managing risks within a centralized Risk Register.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Providing expert security guidance and hands-on remediation support.
- Developing and standardizing remediation procedures for future use.
- Analyzing security and compliance data to identify trends and potential vulnerabilities.
- Automating risk tracking, compliance validation, and remediation workflows.
- Contributing to security and compliance initiatives across the organization.
- Tracking and documenting your work using project management tools.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- CISSP certification or equivalent (e.g., SANS GIAC certifications).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure, including its security architecture and services.
- 3+ years of experience in security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis.
- 1+ year of experience in risk management, with working knowledge of NIST CSF v2 or other relevant control frameworks.
- Strong understanding of web application security threats and mitigation techniques.
- Proven ability to provide security and compliance support across multiple teams.
- Experience using data analysis tools for compliance and security telemetry analysis.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, scripting, CI/CD integration) to improve compliance and risk workflows.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with secure code reviews and static/dynamic analysis tools.
- Hands-on experience securing specific cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with compliance automation frameworks or platforms.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58 to $65 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
