UX Designer

This role offers the exciting opportunity to contribute to new, unreleased products and engage in creative blue-sky thinking as part of a successful and profitable studio. You will be immersed in a collaborative environment, working alongside a team of passionate designers, product managers, engineers, and artists. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong design background and a desire to make a significant impact on the gaming industry.
Responsibilities:

• Develop wireframes, user flows, and interaction diagrams for game interfaces across PC, web, and mobile platforms.
• Design and deliver high-quality UI assets and components, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and alignment with the game’s aesthetic.
• Present design concepts and solutions to the team, incorporating feedback and iterating on designs.
• Make data-driven design decisions based on user research, analytics, and usability testing.
• Ensure design consistency and adaptability across different platforms while maintaining a seamless user experience.
• Create interactive prototypes to effectively communicate complex interaction patterns and design concepts.
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to gather insights for design improvements.
• Follow and advocate for design best practices, staying current with industry trends and tools.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Figma.
• 5+ years of experience with user-centric design philosophy.
• 5+ years of experience with stakeholder management.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design process, including wireframes, user flows, UI design, and interaction design.
• Experience designing for multiple platforms, ensuring consistency across different screen sizes and interfaces.
• Familiarity with user research methods and applying findings to design decisions.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and design systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
• Passion for gaming and understanding of design’s impact on player experience.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design in gaming.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $49.08 to $54.54 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
