As a UX & UI Designer, you’ll be a pivotal force in shaping the future of gameplay, creating intuitive and visually stunning interfaces that captivate players worldwide. This role offers the exciting opportunity to contribute to new, unreleased products and engage in creative blue-sky thinking as part of a successful and profitable studio. You will be immersed in a collaborative environment, working alongside a team of passionate designers, product managers, engineers, and artists. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong design background and a desire to make a significant impact on the gaming industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and interaction diagrams for game interfaces across PC, web, and mobile platforms.
- Design and deliver high-quality UI assets and components, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and alignment with the game’s aesthetic.
- Present design concepts and solutions to the team, incorporating feedback and iterating on designs.
- Make data-driven design decisions based on user research, analytics, and usability testing.
- Ensure design consistency and adaptability across different platforms while maintaining a seamless user experience.
- Create interactive prototypes to effectively communicate complex interaction patterns and design concepts.
- Participate in user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to gather insights for design improvements.
- Follow and advocate for design best practices, staying current with industry trends and tools.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Figma.
- 5+ years of experience with user-centric design philosophy.
- 5+ years of experience with stakeholder management.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design process, including wireframes, user flows, UI design, and interaction design.
- Experience designing for multiple platforms, ensuring consistency across different screen sizes and interfaces.
- Familiarity with user research methods and applying findings to design decisions.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and design systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
- Passion for gaming and understanding of design’s impact on player experience.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design in gaming.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $49.08 to $54.54 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
