As a Network Provider Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and efficient provider network, directly impacting the quality of care for patients. Your expertise in data management and provider relations will be essential to maintaining accurate provider information and supporting the contracting process. As a Network Provider Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Validating the accuracy of provider documents submitted during the recruiting process.
- Submitting updates reflecting new contract information in the provider information database.
- Auditing provider database updates for accuracy and making necessary corrections.
- Maintaining an up-to-date repository of participating provider contracts.
- Managing the contracting team’s email inbox, responding to inquiries, and triaging messages.
- Researching and responding to provider and internal staff inquiries regarding contractual matters.
- Sending welcome packets to newly contracted providers.
- Supporting internal contract auditing processes.
- Compiling, summarizing, and reporting on compliance with contract submission rules.
- Assisting with claims projects, audits, and reviewing contracts and plan documents.
- Ensuring compliance with health plan, corporate, state, and federal regulations.
- Escalating issues to management as needed.
- Working with internal teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Provider Credentialing experience.
- Experience with Provider Data and working with large datasets (Excel, Sheets, etc.).
- Medicaid provider data, provider relations, or provider contracting experience.
- Project management and delivery experience in highly matrixed organizations.
- Working knowledge of database software, Excel, Adobe, and other tools for working with provider data.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively at all levels and affect change.
- Sound judgment and analytical/data-driven decision-making skills.
- Three or more years of experience in data management, customer service, medical/behavioral health, or a related industry.
- High level of technical aptitude and ability to organize and manage information in multiple system environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, pay close attention to detail, and be proficient in MS Office.
- Proven customer service skills and ability to analyze and find solutions to problems in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $20 to $24 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
