Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Copy Editor to assist in updating e-learning materials. This role involves identifying specific terminology within training content, ensuring language accuracy, and highlighting terms for further review. The Copy Editor will collaborate closely with instructional designers and other team members to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards. This role could be 20-40 hours per week during the project duration.

**Key Responsibilities:**
Conduct a thorough review of e-learning materials to identify and highlight specific terminology.
Ensure spelling and grammar accuracy throughout the training content.
Provide feedback and comments on the content using provided review tools.
Collaborate with instructional designers to ensure seamless integration of identified terminology.
Maintain consistency in language and terminology across all e-learning materials.
Meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work within the specified timeframe.

**Qualifications:**

Utilize Chicago and AP style guide
Proven experience as a Copy Editor or similar role.
Strong understanding of grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify specific terminology within content.
Familiarity with e-learning materials and platforms is preferred.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills to provide clear feedback and collaborate with team members.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
