Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain complex network infrastructure across global enterprise environments.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, ensuring adherence to security best practices.
• Provide advanced technical support, diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.
• Proactively monitor network health and performance, implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and reliability.
• Utilize network automation and management tools for provisioning and configuration.
• Track project progress, manage tasks, and report on network-related initiatives.
• Employ IT Service Management (ITSM) practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
• Collaborate on global and regional network projects.
• Ensure network infrastructure and configurations comply with security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise networking and routing protocols.
• Experience with firewalls and associated security features.
• Hands-on experience with network management and monitoring tools.
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.
• Experience with project tracking tools.
• Working knowledge of network automation and assurance tools.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and technologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Relevant industry certifications.
• Experience supporting network infrastructure in large-scale environments.
• Knowledge of WAN technologies and solutions.
• Scripting skills for network automation.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $38.99 to $43.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
