This is a hybrid role in Vancouver.
Pay Range: $60/hr – $65/hr
Our client is looking for a Senior Technical Producer to collaborate with teams to deliver best in class gaming experiences for our players while hitting quality, schedule, and business targets. We provide shared technologies and services to game studios including key areas such as: Builds, Tools, Automation, Systems, Rendering, Audio, Gameplay and Machine Learning.
Responsibilities:
- Support Engineering leads and facilitate engineering team meetings: daily standups, planning meetings, retrospectives etc.
- Motivate and assist Engineering teams to predictably execute on time and at a high quality level on highest priority items.
- Manage dependencies and stakeholders from other parts of the game team.
- Milestone planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Proactive risk management and mitigation.
- Create, update, and present status and information to team and leadership team.
- Identify processes to improve efficiency
Experience:
- 2+ year’s project management or game production or equivalent experience
- 1+ year technical experience, writing code or equivalent experience
- Clear communication skills
- In person in the Vancouver BC office three days a week
- NO requirement for the candidate to have experience in the gaming industry
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working in a central team servicing multiple stakeholders is desired
- Experience working with game engines (e.g. Unreal, Unity, proprietary engines) and/or infrastructure teams (e.g. Builds, Tools, Automation, Systems, Rendering) is a plus
- Experience with a variety of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc.) is a plus
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent is a plus
- You are customer obsessed and have a desire to provide the best experience to our content creators and our players
- You are excited to work closely with designers, engineers, and content creators with a focus on empowering the team to problem-solve
