As an Account Manager, you’ll be the linchpin between internal business and creative teams. You will be the primary point of contact, skillfully navigating communications, resolving issues, and ensuring projects stay on track. Your ability to build strong relationships with decision-makers will be key to your success, as you’ll be responsible for understanding their needs and advocating for them within the organization. You will play a vital role in maintaining a high level of satisfaction among these teams, ensuring they receive top-tier service and support. By proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and growth, you will contribute directly to the success of this innovative organization.
** Requirement to go in office 1-2 days a week in one of the hubs (AR or NJ)**
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned teams and projects, managing communication and resolving issues effectively.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business decision-makers through consistent and proactive communication.
- Oversee project schedules, ensuring clear communication and adherence to deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to stay informed on project status and address any roadblocks.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication between business and creative teams, ensuring alignment and setting appropriate expectations.
- Conduct regular check-ins with business teams to gauge satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain a calendar for category and home page updates based on business needs.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders to manage changes within designated projects. Monitor seasonal business needs and identify opportunities for larger creative initiatives.
- Develop and document protocols and routines for a premium client experience.
- Onboard new team members, providing guidance on workflow processes and facilitating introductions.
- Provide feedback to management on project staffing and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with Creative Directors to ensure delivered assets meet quality standards and business expectations.
- Review key deliverables, such as strategic briefs, style guides, and test imagery, before delivery.
- Identify opportunities for growth and new business within existing teams.
- Effectively communicate the capabilities and services of the creative team.
- Collaborate with sales and campaign management teams to develop proposals, evaluate deals, and follow up on revisions.
- Lead campaign kick-offs and performance discussions with external partners.
- Analyze item, brand, and category trends and performance insights.
- Manage workflow, approvals, and inquiries using ticketing systems.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in account management or client services in a creative production environment or media agency.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook on Mac or PC.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and assertiveness.
- High level of ethics and integrity.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage conflict effectively.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Proven ability to develop strong internal and external relationships.
- Track record of forward and innovative thinking.
- 2+ years of experience growing business relationships, managing relationships with a value of at least $1M.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in building and implementing long-term strategic creative plans.
- Strong client service and presentation skills.
- High level of energy and commitment, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to educate business and creative teams on best practices.
- Understanding of production workflow.
- Willingness to travel between locations as needed.
Top 3 Skills:
- Strong project management and timeline management skills, including self-accountability and the ability to keep internal and external contributors on track.
- Confidence in presenting campaign updates, insights, performance metrics, and product updates to external partners.
- Experience with both self-serve and managed-service campaign executions, including onboarding new partners and troubleshooting issues.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $49.89 to $55.44 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
