As a Business Analyst, you will be immersed in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, driving the evolution of a critical defect management application. Your contributions will directly influence the efficiency and effectiveness of plant operations, impacting a wide range of applications. This role offers a unique blend of technical challenge and strategic contribution, providing a platform to showcase your analytical prowess and problem-solving skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Gather and analyze requirements for a next-generation defect management application, transitioning from a client-based to a web-based architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business partners, to ensure seamless integration and user-centric design.
  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions, conduct workflow analysis, and develop detailed documentation for user interfaces and technical specifications.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings, track progress, and communicate updates effectively.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of user stories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage backlogs and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Work within test environments to validate functionality and identify potential issues.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Management or Computer Science preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in business analysis, with a proven track record of success in requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Proficiency in using various software tools for capturing and managing requirements (e.g., Jira, ADO, Microsoft Application Suite).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with backlog management and prioritization.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60-70 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
