Make an Impact as a Software Developer
As a Software Developer, you’ll be an integral part of a team dedicated to enhancing the defect management system within Manufacturing IT. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both front-end and back-end development, working on a critical system that supports factories globally. You’ll collaborate with a skilled team of developers, project managers, and product analysts, utilizing agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions. This position offers the chance to work with a blend of legacy and modern technologies, providing valuable experience in both maintaining existing systems and contributing to modernization efforts.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand existing server-side APIs written in .NET and their interaction with an Oracle database.’
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating backend services with external systems.
  • Ensure seamless integration of APIs with front-end web applications built in Angular or React.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices.
  • Identify and resolve application issues, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
  • Participate in code management practices using Git, including creating and reviewing pull requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve existing applications and development processes.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET development.
  • Experience with SQL Server and database management.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with front-end development using Angular or React.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
  • Knowledge of API gateways.
  • Experience with caching, queuing, and storage technologies like Redis, MQ, and S3.

 

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $70 to $75 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
