Senior Internal Communications Writer | Security Engagement Team
We’re looking for a part-time strategic internal communicator who will be a go-to resource for key stakeholders in our Security Engagement organization.
The successful candidate is a strategist, writer, and engaging storyteller with a creative and solution-oriented mindset.
This work will be 20 hours per week and remote.
Experience writing about security is a major plus!
Responsibilities:

Support writing for internal communications for the Security Engagement team

Write slack messages for employee engagement and announcements related to the Security team.

Draft content for Slack Canvas platforms (or similar internal platforms).

Write Internal blogs focusing on technology and security topics to educate and inform employees
-
Write Internal newsletters and bulletins for the Security Engagement team
-
Write eternal Comms Docs (as needed)

External blog posts on behalf of the organization, focusing on technology and security topics.

Content/thought leadership pieces for the Chief Trust Officer.

Experience/skills required:
-
7+ years of experience in internal communications or a related discipline; experience in a high tech or other fast-paced, disruptive environment a plus

A brilliant communicator and highly creative writer experienced in crafting compelling messaging and narratives

Proven track record developing, executing, and tracking creative internal communications plans

Experienced in Slack, email, executive communications, and narrative/presentation design
-
Experience working with multiple stakeholders to produce event/presentation content and coordinate follow-up engagement and enablement

Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and create clear communications
-
Ability to create regular reports on communications metrics, tie them to business impact, and use them to inform future projects

Ability to manage, and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and nimble environment

A strategic thinker with proven ability to work cross-functionally, exerting influence without direct authority

Dynamic, confident personality with ability to successfully drive projects with minimal guidance

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and re-prioritize on the fly
