This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test solutions for our client’s mobile platform. You will leverage your expertise in Appium and Java to design, develop, and execute robust testing strategies. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the highest quality standards are met, contributing directly to the success of our client’s mission.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain functional test automation scripts for mobile applications using Appium with Java.
- Ensure continuous automation execution, analyze results, and promptly report failures.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to define environment requirements, identify automation tools, and implement best practices.
- Champion the end-to-end testing approach across multiple applications.
- Partner with geographically distributed teams to shape future QA tooling and technology decisions.
- Collaborate with product teams, product owners, and scrum masters to integrate project plans, testing schedules, and metrics reporting.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 1+ year in Mobile Application Development.
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Hands-on coding experience with Java.
- Working knowledge of bug logging and test case management tools (e.g., JIRA/Zephyr).
- Proven ability to manage multiple geographically distributed QA projects with concurrent releases.
- Solid understanding of Mobile Development on iOS and/or Android devices.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and Lean DevOps methodologies.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with XCUI and/or Espresso, Kotlin, SWIFT.
- Financial/Trading services industry experience.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $29.99 to $33.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
