We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and collaborative individual with a passion for growing global and inclusive communities around educational platforms and digital experiences. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening the connection between our education platform and global audiences, building and sustaining a vibrant community of practice, surfacing the voices of educators and parents, and supporting impactful campaigns and events throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute a community engagement strategy that supports a growing user base and expanding global audience.
  • Manage the educator community in close collaboration with social, marketing, and product teams, serving as a champion for educators and parents worldwide.
  • Drive adoption through coordinating strategic community activations, such as trainings and events.
  • Lead ambassador programs to identify and collaborate with community leaders for regional leadership, product insights, and innovation.
  • Regularly communicate and create reports that surface listening updates, learnings, and data around key beats while highlighting opportunities for product and marketing teams.
  • Advocate as the voice of educators in product strategy, feature development, and learning experiences by providing input and community feedback.
  • Assist in creating a calendar of events for upcoming webinars.
  • Organize training sessions and networking opportunities.
  • Develop strategies for community growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Manage and moderate community spaces, ensuring a welcoming and productive environment.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of community management or similar social media marketing experience.
  • A passion for education with an understanding of online communities and the ability to prioritize audience needs.
  • Experience with education, educational technology, or teaching communities, policies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with using data to adjust and optimize strategy and activations for community-facing channels.
  • Experience managing and engaging with social media and community platforms.

  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in education, educational technology, or teaching communities, policies, and best practices.
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience using data to adjust and optimize strategy for community-facing channels.
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience managing and engaging with social media and community platforms.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $52.05 to $57.84 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
