Overview/Summary

The People Engagement Business Partner Contractor is responsible for developing and delivering innovative internal communications strategies that inform, inspire, engage, and entertain our people, to create a greater connection and sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the MU PE Business Partner Lead for Iberia in managing communications strategy and plans and stakeholder relationships for the respective MU.
  • Design and build communications strategies and programs that advance the global, EMEA and Market Unit (=MU) business strategy.
  • Act as the business partner and authority on People Engagement communications with Marketing + Communications (M+C) and key business leaders as well as leaders on topics like Inclusion & Diversity (I&D), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Learning & Development (L&D).
  • Collaborate across the People Engagement team to develop and deliver compelling content that brings our messages and campaigns to life, resonating with target audiences, across all relevant channels and in time.
  • Track all communications in the central PE calendar, identify opportunities to create connected content agendas, reduce concept creation, and leverage proven campaigns.
  • Track metrics and share insights on program performance that continuously inform our communications strategy and tactics.
  • Manage, develop, coordinate and track content for Good Morning Accenture (GMA), the global email newsletter on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with targeted audiences.
  • Act with an audience-first narrative, using data and insights and advanced targeting to deliver highly personalized and relevant experiences.
  • Exercise great attention to detail to ensure communications are consistent in using Accenture language, tone, writing styles, and formatting.
  • Liaise with PE partners in the teams: Audience & Channel, Experience, Channel & Community and Writing &Content to bring business stakeholder plans to life.
  • Collaborate with MUs on key people programs, including global campaigns, leadership announcements, crisis communications and I&D programs.
  • Support crisis/ issues management communications, working collaboratively with members of global corporate communications, legal, asset management, workplace and employee relations.
  • Partner with Accenture Canvas (creative) and where necessary external agencies, to ensure strategic and cost-effective use of services.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience with internal communications

Professional Skills

  • Experience in integrated internal communications strategy development and execution. This includes knowledge of global digital platforms, face-to-face channels, content strategy, publishing and management.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and experience in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Experience in having conversations with people on various seniority levels.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and oral communication skills.
  • An eye for detail to ensure communications are consistent in using Accenture language, tone, writing styles and formatting.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a proven ability to move forward communications initiatives in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency in Viva Engage, email communication platforms, Intranet portals and SharePoint preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
  • Understand communications and creative needs and write & review briefs
  • Develop storytelling narratives and compelling content that bring our messages and campaigns to life, resonating with target audiences, across all relevant channels.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58.79 to $65.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
