Key Challenges:

  • Highly Regulated Environment: Navigating a highly regulated space, particularly with Medicare, is a core challenge.
  • Complex Variations: The platform must accommodate different plan structures, including variations in mental health, dental, and spending measures (such as the costs of medical procedures, childbirth, and knee replacements).
  • Systemic vs. Tactical Solutions: Some user challenges require quick fixes, while others call for systemic solutions.
  • Accuracy Focus: Special attention to detail is required to ensure cost estimates, claims, and benefit calculations are accurate.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience: 7+ years in UX design with a strong business analyst mindset.
  • Skills & Tools: Hands-on experience with Figma, with a focus on both native (iOS/Android) and web platforms. Candidates should be comfortable transitioning between these platforms (i.e., from native to web and vice versa).

  • Collaboration: This role will require close collaboration with another designer to divide tasks, share insights, and iterate on design solutions.

Healthcare Knowledge:

  • Healthcare Domain Experience: Prior experience in the healthcare industry, particularly around claims, EOBs (Explanation of Benefits), and pharmacy processes, is highly valuable. A strong understanding of how healthcare systems work and the challenges of managing healthcare costs is essential.

What We’re Looking For: A highly skilled UX designer with deep expertise in refining complex, regulated platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of UX expertise, analytical thinking, and hands-on design experience. If you’re passionate about optimizing user experiences within the healthcare space and have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, this role may be a great fit.
