We are looking for a Mid-to-Senior Back-End Java Developer to join our team and play a key role in designing, engineering, testing, integrating, and maintaining digital systems and data for innovative product solutions. This position requires a strong technical background and a passion for engineering high-quality, scalable software that powers efficient and intuitive member and team experiences. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust back-end systems, supporting seamless cloud adoption, and integrating data to drive business solutions through actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Integrate Systems: Design, implement, and maintain digital systems that enhance member and team experiences, leveraging the latest open-source technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Cloud Integration: Work with cloud services, primarily Microsoft Azure, to develop, configure, and model next-gen applications. Support cloud migration and data integration processes for seamless system automation.
  • UI & Multi-Platform Applications: Implement complete user interfaces for mobile and desktop web applications that are optimized for multiple devices and platforms.
  • Automation & CI/CD: Contribute to the development of automation tools, implement CI/CD pipelines, and streamline cross-platform software applications and server integrations.
  • Code Quality & Reviews: Conduct peer code reviews to ensure adherence to design specifications and high-quality standards. Collaborate on the integration of solutions with existing systems, ensuring compatibility and efficient performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and business units to improve product development and help automate migration processes.
  • Data Management & Analytics: Manage and interpret large data sets, improving reporting efficiency and deriving actionable insights for product improvements and business solutions.
  • Testing & Innovation: Assist in software development, conduct testing, and participate in agile daily scrums to track progress, address obstacles, and refine solutions.
  • Prove Concepts & Optimize: Create proof-of-concepts and evaluate new software technologies to optimize the effectiveness of applications and systems.
  • Improvement & Usability: Recommend changes to enhance the usability, interactivity, and performance of digital content and systems, ensuring they meet business and user needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Java Development: Strong experience with J2EE, Spring Framework, and Java-based web services (Java, XML, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML, OOA, and OOD concepts).
  • Cloud Experience: Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms, with a preference for Microsoft Azure (experience with AWS and Google Cloud is a plus). Familiarity with Azure IaaS & PaaS, VSTS, and CI/CD tools is highly desirable.
  • Microservices Architecture: Solid experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures to support scalable and efficient software solutions.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Maven, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Selenium, and JUnit.
  • Data Engineering: Significant experience in data management, data architecture, and performance optimization. Familiarity with tools like SQL Data Warehouse, Data Lake Store, and Machine Learning is a plus.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI and statistical concepts such as probability and modeling.
  • Problem Solving: Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns to build robust, scalable solutions.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and engage stakeholders effectively.

Desired Experience:

  • Financial Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with banking and financial industry standards and best practices.
  • IT & Data Management: Prior experience with data migration, data integration, and advanced analytics.
