Project Coordinator
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Coordinator to join our client’s team. This role acts as a vital bridge between users and our computing resources, driving projects from initial conception through implementation. You will be responsible for system specifications, systems design, analysis, and project control, collaborating with analysts and programmers throughout the process, and as a user liason.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely processing of new interconnection applications.
- Collaborate with advisors and analysts to streamline the application intake process, enabling generation customers to efficiently move into contract negotiations.
- Meticulously manage all business records for assigned projects, adhering to company policies and ensuring timely updates to document libraries and databases.
- Actively participate in planning and evaluation meetings, documenting key decisions and action items.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and other follow-up documentation.
- Effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks across various projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist clients with data preparation and adapt quickly to evolving requirements, communicating changes effectively to project teams.
- Coordinate project resources and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
- Confidently lead web and face-to-face training sessions and meetings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between end-users and the technical team.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong task-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working on both small and large-scale projects.
- A proactive attitude with a desire to excel and support colleagues.
Required Skills/Attributes:
- 3+ years of experience working as a Project Coordinator (or in a related coordinating/analyst role).
Desired Skills/Attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience documenting business processes, developing operating procedures, operating manuals, and job aids.
- Experience with data management, business process management, and business process management system implementation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external clients, peers, management, and other work units.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $33.28 to $36.98 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
