Print Services Supervisor for Creative Services
The Print Services Supervisor works closely with the Creative Manager to develop strategies and ensure exceptional service delivery. This includes overseeing quality control, managing workflows, outsourcing to print vendors, and assigning tasks based on skill sets, availability, and capacity. The role manages daily operations, provides performance feedback to the Creative Manager, and conducts daily status meetings with team members to review assignments, job status, quality, and any equipment or technology issues.
This role collaborates across the Creative Services ecosystem, identifies gaps, leads process improvement initiatives, and ensures quality assurance and consistency across Print Services.
Responsibilities:

Workflow Management:
- Supervise daily workflows for the print services team.
- Monitor the Workfront tool to assess, plan, and assign print requests to specialists in NY, LA, and external vendors.
- Oversee complex and rush print projects while managing multiple time-sensitive tasks.

Team Oversight:
- Provide daily guidance and performance feedback to the Creative Manager.
- Mentor and train new print employees on policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Build team unity through collaboration, coaching, and effective communication.

Client & Vendor Relations:
- Maintain vendor relationships, outsource print work, and manage external print production.
- Serve as the point of contact for service delivery issues and lead debrief sessions with clients.
- Monitor and ensure quality control processes are followed for every project before delivery.

Equipment & Supplies:
- Troubleshoot print equipment, place service calls, and follow up on repairs and costs.
- Research and recommend new or replacement equipment.
- Purchase supplies, track inventory, and manage vendor invoices.

Strategic Initiatives:
- Identify gaps in processes and lead initiatives to improve workflow and service delivery.
- Mentor team members on print best practices and industry trends.
- Provide recommendations for innovation in technology and equipment.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma and associate’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
- 6+ years of print experience handling complex projects, leading teams, and managing vendor relationships.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.

Technical Skills:
- Superior knowledge of reprographic equipment and print methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and other relevant tools.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Conflict resolution, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- Strategic thinking with sound business judgment.

Industry Knowledge:
- Familiarity with creative industry practices, digital and print trends, and technology.
- Experience working with creative designers and mentoring on print best practices.
Compensation:
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.29 to $50.33/hour, based on factors such as education, relevant work experience, certifications, and location.
