This role is based in South San Francisco, but is open to fully remote candidates who are willing to travel periodically roughly up to 10% of the time.

Our healthcare client is a seeking Search and Organic Social Media Manager who will be accountable for delivering high-quality and impactful digital customer experiences through search and organic social media as part of the Experience Operations (XO) team. The team is composed of a department of service experts who partner to orchestrate and deliver integrated digital customer experiences that drive measurable business outcomes.

The Paid Search and Organic Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies across channel platforms to effectively reach and engage our target audiences. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing search and social campaigns, a deep understanding of pharmaceutical strategies and a passion for driving results through digital channels.

We manage a portfolio of Paid Search on external search engines and Organic social channels. We find levers to understand and experiment for the business. We work with multiple partners across the organization including marketing and medical teams. You will be the single point of contact for specific areas of the business and will be the team’s expert for that partner, gathering insights, sharing and applying learnings across paid search and organic social.

  • You will enable the strategy by collaborating with internal teams to translate marketing objectives and develop comprehensive paid search and organic social media goals and execute tactics that support and drive the business, reach our target audiences and improve performance measures.
  • You will manage agency partners to ensure high-quality strategy, content, execution and communicate a clear channel strategy to ensure success across all services.
  • The Manager will plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Google, Bing (among others), ensuring optimal targeting, and performance tracking.

Audience Targeting:

  • Utilize advanced targeting capabilities and audience segmentation strategies to reach and engage personas and decision-makers within targets.

Paid Search Budget Management:

  • Monitor and manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing spend.

Performance Analysis:

  • Leverage internal analytics and external data to support insights and business-focused recommendations.

A/B Testing:

  • Implement testing methodologies to optimize ad creative, messaging, targeting parameters, and landing pages for maximum performance and effectiveness. Seeks opportunities to optimize, test pilots, or advance new capabilities and share learnings across XO and the broader enterprise.

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience including 5+ years experience working in digital media marketing, media agency, digital brand strategist, social media, analyst, media planning, strategy
  • Previous experience working in Experience Operations as a Paid Search or Social Media Manager
  • In-depth knowledge of social media advertising platforms, including LinkedIn Ads, Twitter, Meta Ads Manager, Google, Bing, GDN.
  • Highly experienced working within a SMMS, Sprinklr, Khoros, Sprout Social

Preferred Skills:

  • Digital customer experience
  • Pharma/biotech experience or experience in a highly regulated industry
  • Certification in social media marketing platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn Marketing Labs) and Google Ads
  • Knowledge of GA4

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58.34 to $64.83 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
