  • Product Modernization: Support the modernization and improvement of the Portfolio Checkup interface, ensuring it meets the needs of investors and aligns with company goals.
  • Agile & Scrum Methodologies: Actively participate in Agile and Scrum processes, attending sprint planning, reviews, and daily standups to track progress and resolve any blockers.
  • Data and Reporting: Utilize tools like Excel and PowerPoint to create reports, presentations, and dashboards for stakeholders. Assist with analysis and the identification of trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Problem Solving: Identify process inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for optimization within the financial product and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or related role, ideally within the financial services or fintech industry.

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, with the ability to work within an Agile team environment.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint for documenting requirements, creating reports, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to gather requirements, define functional specifications, and clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for solving complex business challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with investing or fintech products, especially in the portfolio management or retirement space.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts, such as portfolio analysis, asset allocation, and investment strategies.
  • Previous experience with product ownership is a plus, as this role may transition into a product owner position based on experience and career goals.
