We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with a strong focus on frontend development and expertise in PHP, open-source frameworks (e.g., Laravel), MVC frameworks, and React. The ideal candidate has a consulting background, is client-facing, and excels at communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. This role requires gathering client requirements, estimating resources and timelines, and delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical lead for client projects, focusing on frontend development.
  • Leverage expertise in Laravel and MVC frameworks for robust backend integrations.
  • Build and maintain high-performance web applications using React.
  • Engage directly with clients, gathering requirements and translating them into actionable development plans.
  • Provide estimates on team size, workload, and timelines for project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of deliverables.
  • Balance technical leadership with hands-on development as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead, ideally in a consulting or agency setting.
  • Strong PHP and Laravel framework skills; familiarity with other open-source technologies is a plus.
  • Expertise in React and other modern frontend frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of MVC frameworks and their application in web development.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience scoping projects, estimating resources, and managing client expectations.
  • Familiarity with companies like North Point Digital, Talenter, or similar consulting firms is a plus.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50 to $70 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
