AI Prompt Engineer

Overview

Hours:  Flexible working hours to accommodate varying project demands. Position is part-time/freelance and on an “as needed” basis. No guarantee of a set # of hours/week. There could be weeks they perform zero work and other weeks they have 30-40 hours.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Agent Engineer to join our team on a remote, part-time basis. The AI Agent Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing AI prompts for various business tasks using Copilot/ChatGPT. This role requires a strong understanding of AI technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The AI Agent Engineer will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and develop AI prompts to help automate their work.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain AI prompts for various business tasks using Copilot/ChatGPT.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver AI solutions.
• Create prompts to compile different Excel files, develop business strategies for category buyers or managers, and help buyers create contracts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI prompts.
• Optimize and improve the performance of existing AI prompts.
• Document technical specifications and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and AI technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing AI prompts, preferably using Copilot/ChatGPT.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $70 to $76. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
